The picturesque village of Tynemouth stands at the mouth of the River Tyne with a history that dates back hundreds of years. The town is dominated by the dramatic Tynemouth Priory & Castle on the headland. Tynemouth Longsands is a nationally recognised surfing hub and popular for walking and family days on the beach.

"This lovely cottage is in an ideal location close to the beach and a park and a short walk into the town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The bedrooms were large and bright and airy. The kitchen had everything you would need and the garage was a real bonus, so we didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot. Very comfortable, we will certainly be booking again."

"Just returned from a three night family stay at the tynemouth holiday cottage. We stayed with a one year old and the cottage couldn't be more family friendly! Becky met us there to exchange keys and give us a warm welcome and had put a babygate up for us for safety and made up a cotbed for our arrival. Everything was absolutely pristine and it really was a home from home. The location is absolutely perfect and a stone's throw from both longsands beach to the left and king Edwards bay to the right. We had the best weekend and loved staying here, we will definitely be back!"
